Probing the unknown parts of ourselves isn’t always comfortable—but it’s where growth, clarity, and unexpected beauty can emerge. Susan’s work is rooted in this internal exploration. She wrestles with thought and emotion through abstraction, using color, form, and texture to translate what can’t be easily spoken.

Working primarily in acrylic and oil pastel on paper and canvas, she approaches each piece as a dialogue with her inner world. Layers build, shift, and resolve themselves over time—mirroring the emotional processes they come from. What begins in discomfort often ends in cohesion.

Susan lives and works in New York City and trained at the School of Visual Arts and is currently studying at the Art Students League. More of Susan’s work can be found on Instagram. Don’t hesitate to contact Susan here.
